TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT PROGRAMME
The USF engages the unattached Youth of the country in gainful employment and training. The participants are engaged for one year and receive a mix of training and certification, field work and on the job experience. Their engagement begins with training and certification from the Caribbean Maritime University in basic ICT followed by training and certification in Systems Administration from the HEART Trust NTA. The engagement concludes with 6 months of on the job experience at entities across the private and public sectors. TAP participants will also use their newly acquired systems administration skills to support the management of USF funded projects such as community access points within their community.
We will be looking out for the applications and stand ready to assist all young Jamaicans who are ready to tap into TAP and to tap into their future with HOPE.
The application period for this current batch has been closed.
