The Universal Service Fund (USF) invites eligible Jamaican nationals to apply for the 2026 USF Grant Programme, an initiative designed to support educational and professional advancement in the digital sector. Applications open July 6, 2026, and close July 31, 2026.

The 2026 USF Grant Programme offers two funding opportunities:

  • USF Emerging Digital Leaders Grant – Valued at JMD $300,000, this grant is open to Jamaican nationals aged 17–28 who demonstrate strong academic potential, leadership qualities, active community involvement, and a commitment to contributing to Jamaica’s digital transformation.
  • USF Digital Advancement and Professional Development Grant – Valued at JMD $200,000, this grant supports Jamaican nationals aged 30–40 who are pursuing undergraduate studies after having attained at least an Associate Degree or Diploma.

Through this initiative, the Universal Service Fund continues to invest in Jamaica’s human capital by expanding access to educational opportunities, fostering innovation, and developing the talent needed to drive the country’s digital future.
